Tri-State Christian Academy
Student Honor Code
All students at Tri-State Christian Academy are encouraged to maintain exemplary Christian principles both on and off campus. Since the testimony of our lives is so important, we believe it is imperative that students make a commitment to follow the godly
character and principles of God's Word.
Honoring God with your heart, soul, and mind will involve a self-discipline to REFUSE any
use of profanity whether in appearance or in conversation in school and off campus. Knowing God's Word as truth in your life will make you a student of excellence.
q Honor Christ with my attitude and behavior;
Matthew 22:37 "Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God
with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind."
q Obey and honor school and my parents,
Hebrews 13:17 "Obey them that have the rule over you,
and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not
with grief: for that is unprofitable for you."
q Excel as a student;
Philippians 1:10 "That ye may approve things that are excellent; that ye may
be sincere and without offence
till the day of Christ."
q Cooperate respectfully and obey willingly those in Authority;
Proverbs 16:20 "He that handleth a matter wisely shall find good: and whoso
trusteth in the Lord, happy is he.
q Abstain from immoral actions, profanity, sexual immorality,
cheating, stealing, destroying property, and possession or using tobacco, alcohol and other drugs,
Colossians 3:5 "Mortify therefore your
members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which
is idolatry:"
q Refrain from television programs, movies, music, the Internet
and other mediums that emphasize ungodliness, impurity, immorality, the drug culture or rebellion against authority;
Ephesians 5:15-17 "See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as
wise, Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Wherefore be ye not unwise,
but understanding what the will of the Lord is."
q Avoid even the appearance of evil or behavior that would
bring dishonor to Christ, my parents or my school,
1 Thessalonians 5:22, "Abstain from all appearance of evil."
q Follow the appearance and dress code that has been established
by Tri-State Christian Academy;
Romans 12:1 "I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God,
that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service."
q Refrain from unwholesome talk. Be honest, trustworthy, kind and compassionate and strive to edify others.
Refrain from dissension, gossip, arguing and complaining,
Ephesians 4:29 "Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your
mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers".
