ACADEMICS:

TCA is only enrolling up to the 9th grade this year. It is our desire to increase a grade level over the next 3 years, until we are back to enrolling up to the 12th grade. All the information below will be relevant once TCA is back to having a 12th grade. At that time TCA will require 23 credits in order to graduate from High School. 

This is consistent with PA Graduation Requirements.

• 4 credits English/Literature
• 4 credits Math
• 4 credits Social Studies
• 2 credits Bible
• 3 credits Science
• 1 credit Health
• 1 credit Physical Education
• 1 credit Keyboarding
• 1 credit Introduction to Computers
• 5 credit Electives:which include 2 credits Foreign Language      

Ninth grade must have a total of 6 credits to be promoted to 10th grade.

Tenth grade must have a total of 11-12 credits to be promoted to 11th grade.

Eleventh grade must have a total of 17-18 credits to be promoted to 12th grade.

Twelfth grade must have a minimum of 23 credits to graduate. 

Levels of Honor Roll

There are two levels of honor roll.  They are identified as;

The Principal's Honor Roll for students with a 4.0 G.P.A. 

The Honor Roll for students with a 3.5 G.P.A. and nothing less than an 80% in any subject during the school year.
